Ear Planes

Description

Ear planes are ear plugs for flying. They are designed to be reusable for up to five trips. They relieve i-flight ear pressure and ear discomfort. Flying can be a difficult experience for children as well as adults so we have provided two different sizes of ear plugs for flying.

• Children’s size provided for children up to the age of 11.
• Adult Size provided for children above the age of 11 and adults.

How to use

For easy fitting, gently pull the top of your upward whilst gently inserting and turning the ear plug. Insert the ribbed end first.

Storage

Use a carry case and store at room temperature. Pollen dust and moisture reduces effectiveness.

Cleaning

Use a cloth which is middle soapy and wipe the ear plug until clean. Please make sure that water does not enter the central cavity inside the plug as this will hamper functionality.

Caution

Not to be used if there is a risk of the connecting chord becoming caught during use.

Flying with tinnitus and hearing somplaints

Flying with any type of hearing condition can be difficult. Experiencing changes in air pressure causes our ears to try and accommodate these changes to equalise pressure. Wearing these ear plugs for flying will reduce this type of discomfort.

Ear changes caused by changes in air pressure can make tinnitus symptoms seem worse. Using ear planes to help reduce these fluctuations will help to minimise disturbance to tinnitus symptoms. Worsening tinnitus symptoms caused by flying usually return to normal levels post flight.
