Natural sounds are so restful and it is good to have them available at the touch of a button from my Sound Oasis. I find it easy to use, perfect for that period last thing at night winding down from the day or to wake up to in the morning, with a gradually increasing volume of natural sound alarm or a beeper alarm, both with snooze button. I turn it on at all times of the day to escape the prevailing stress. It can be set for a limited period so no need to worry about turning it off; perfect for going to sleep with. 12 sounds, mostly of nature, are available, including rain falling, woodlands, a stream flowing and the soporific repetition of the waves. There are also electronic sounds like the beautiful chimes and the sound of tranquility. There is a back up set of sounds, which I have not so far felt the need to use. This really confirms the effect of these sounds; however many times you hear them they are ever new and refreshing.

This is a great value product. My wife and I use it in bed to send us off to sleep. We both suffer from tinnitus and would be at a loss without this machine. It was bigger than we expected but i think that gives the sound a better quality and still a reasonable size. We particularly like the stream song it makes.
